After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1980, Mr. Lowe received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut in 1984, having received the Nathan Burkan Memorial Award in Copyright Law (1983). Mr. Lowe was immediately admitted to practice in New York (1984) and California (1985). He was also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (1986), United States District Court for the Central District of California (1986), and Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals (1989).
Mr. Lowe started the Law Offices of Steven T. Lowe in 1991. In 2002, the firm became Lowe Law, a professional law corporation (the “Firm.”)
In 2003, Mr. Lowe was featured in The Los Angeles Lawyer 19th Annual Entertainment Law Issue as author of an article on copyright law. Mr. Lowe also authored an article entitled "Where Credit Is Due" which appeared in the Los Angeles Lawyer (December 2004). In addition, Mr. Lowe was featured on the cover of The Los Angeles Lawyer (June 2006), which contained an article he authored entitled “Royal Treatment” concerning royalties in the music business. In March 2010, an article he wrote entitled "Drafting Tips for Transactional Attorneys" appeared in the San Francisco and Los Angeles Daily Journals.
On October 27, 2011, Mr. Lowe was a panelist for a seminar titled "Death of Copyright?" with the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Mr. Lowe has served as a judge for the 14th Annual Pepperdine University School of Law National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition in November 2011. He also plans on being a speaker for the California Lawyers for the Arts in late January 2012.

Kelly Houle was born and raised in Los Angeles. Kelly graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2006 with Honors, where she double-majored in Political Science and Law & Society. After graduating from UCLA Law in 2009, she was admitted to the California Bar in December 2009. She has externed with the Honorable Yvonne Sanchez of the LA Superior Court, and was a congressional intern for Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA). In her spare time, Kelly enjoys listening to music and hanging out with her dogs and cat.


Jennifer Anderson was born and raised in Whittier, CA. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, emphasis in Legal Studies. She also attended UCLA’s Extension Program where she attained a Paralegal Certificate with a concentration in Litigation and Corporations.
Rachel Dardashti was born and raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from Tulane University with honors and received Bachelor's of Science in economics. Rachel's interest in Los Angeles' and New Orleans' unique cultures prompted a love of art and a desire to pursue Art and Entertainment Law. She currently attends Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
